A typical ravensburger media design student is an infinite designer. He works simultaneously around-the-clock on different projects to illustrate his ideas. In this creative process the written practical work is very unpopular. Scarcely anybody is motivated to write long essays all day and night long and so many of them suffer of writer's block.
On behalf of "DHBW Ravensburg" library I created a poster series for the events "Schreibwerkstatt" (writing factory) and "Lange Nacht der Aufgeschobenen Projektarbeiten" (the long night of deferred projects). The goal of these events were to help students working on their essays.
In the center of poster design is my own very contrasted font. With its unusual look its main goal is to attract attention. The font ist arranged like a crossword that should look like a difficult puzzle, the puzzle of the essays. The main color of the poster is a deep night blue - a reference to the long work nights. It is set out with the neon luminescent letters in the three lightly modified based RGB colors, red, green and blue. The basic colors which are used every day by media designers. They glow like lights in the darkness which are guiding the right way to getting something right, like a correctly written crossword or a well written essay.
