Bikeshuttle.it is an offerer for transport of bikes and luggage along the famous Alps cycle paths like Via Claudia Augusta, Etsch cycle path or Alpencross. The company counts a lot of satisfied longtime clients but they had trouble to get new customers and to stand out from other competitors. Their website needed a redesign which reflects the corporate identity of the company to get new clients.
It was important to bring the CI colors from logo and its spirit in to the website. It was also necessary to arrange the content of website more clearly and make new structures. The new potential clients should get to important information faster. The website should be functional and look welcoming.
On the homepage the most important thing was to have a direct and fast option to book the next bike shuttle. For that I designed a user centered booking window.
In addition I graded the CI colors turquoise, beige and red into different weighted parts. The main used color should be turquoise. It presents as a friendly and happy color enjoying life, the spirit of bike shuttle. Complementary color should be beige. Beige comes from the color brown and stands for a serious, down-to-earth color signifying stability, structure and support. All qualities that stand for the service of company. Also the filter of main pictures like on the homepage is beige, giving the pictures a warmer & mountain feeling look. The color red is energizing. It excites the emotions and motivates us to take action. So for that this color is used a little as a highlight color to animate the consumer to act.
On the "Restplatzbörse" you can have a quick monthly overview about upcoming shuttle tours and how many spots are still free.
On the "Routen" site you can get information about the famous bike roads & book your preferred shuttle.
To give this page liveliness I made accents of lines, which stand for different roads.
On the contact page, you can not only get in touch with bike shuttle but also again have the possibility to book your favoured trip. The whole design blocks between different chapters & information are diagonal cuts simulating the up & down driving in the mountains.
